Over $1M in Liquidity Generated | $START Liquidity Generation Event on Polygon
Off the back of our launch on Polygon Blockchain, we held an LGE to create new markets on the top DEX — QuickSwap Exchange — the results speak for themselves.
Our move to Polygon is about introducing Starter to a new community, and crucially, creating a safe and proven space for new projects to fundraise.
With it, $START is now more accessible than ever before, freely available to more traders, increasing trading volume, and continuing the growth of Starter International in the crypto space.
The next natural step was to operate on the number one DEX on Polygon — QuickSwap. And with the birth of QuickStart to launch IDOs on Polygon, we took this partnership to the next level with a game-changing collaboration designed to increase the security of IDOs, and provide a streamlined, safe, secure fundraising platform for developers and investors to join the Polygon ecosystem.
In short, we’ve innovated to bring some of our hallmark network-driven security to our new home on Polygon — continuing to bolster our network, strengthen $START, and benefit our community.
But in order to thrive cross-chain, it’s essential that we carve out new markets for $START on Polygon and QuickSwap. This is where the Liquidity Generation Event (or LGE) comes in…
Our First Event on Polygon
To get the ball rolling on QuickSwap we held a Liquidity Generation Event to raise liquidity for the newly created pools and give QuickSwap users the opportunity to acquire $START in exchange for $QUICK.
An LGE is the best way to avoid token scarcity and undesirable price impact in a new liquidity pool.
It also opens up arbitrage possibilities for our community, and importantly for us, ensures that there is an incentive to invest in $START through both Binance Smart Chain and Polygon Blockhain — following through on our promise of promoting accessibility and steady growth.
A Resounding Success
The LGE raised a massive $1.16M in liquidity on Polygon, creating a total of $1.78M in $START liquidity across both the BSC and Polygon chains. The increased accessibility of $START and this sudden injection of momentum has attracted a lot of attention, and exposure for the project.
Increased trading volume and new traders coming to $START from all directions mean that our community is expanding rapidly and that our longer-standing community members are benefitting from the freedom of a thriving cross-chain token.
Looking Forward
While the LGE has been a great success, maintaining sufficient liquidity is a continuous process and ongoing incentives have been put in place in both of our pools to stimulate liquidity going forward:
- QUICK/START pool on QuickSwap Exchange: APY of 434% is currently being paid in QUICK on deposited LP tokens on QuickSwap Exchange.
- START/MATIC pool on Starter.xyz: Rewards paid in START and APY of 462%.
