Let’s start by introducing yourself, your background, and how you got into crypto.

Sure!
My name is Prakash Somosundram and I built my career in Digital Advertising. Sold my previous company to WPP in 2011, exited the agency world in 2014 and got involved with the startup ecosystem. I got introduced to Bitcoin in 2013 but started getting serious in the space in 2016. Was very involved in ecosystem development here in Singapore and used to organize a lot of meetups for projects to educate people on crypto and that got me into a journey that has led me here.
I am the CEO and Co-founder of Enjinstarter and our team is primarily based here in Singapore. Most of us in the team have known each other for some time now. We got together in April this year to start Enjinstarter. Personally, the inspiration came after I read the EFINITY whitepaper and that blew my mind and I knew that this will be the future.

Along with yourself, can you share more about the team supporting the project with you?

Sure! Let me start with my Co-founder and CTO Alvin Tang who has lead our product development. He comes from a software development background and has been mining cryptocurrency since 2013. I have known him since 2016. Chris Basil is our Social Media Lead. He used to work with me in my digital agency and he has worked with me with 5 other startups, where he was involved with starting them out from scratch. We do have 2 senior developers, Josiah and Chee Tim who have many years of experience in development. We are also supported by our advisers who spend a lot of time with us. Not forgetting Wayne Cheong who is our Chief Metaverse Officer and also the host of our weekly video podcast. He will be guiding us into the Metaverse.
Currently, the team is 7 men strong and we will be adding more people to the team

Ok, let’s hear a quick overview of what Enjinstarter is all about and where the inspiration came from?

Ok, Enjinstarter is primarily a Launchpad that is focused on Blockchain Gaming and Metaverses. Working with Enjin we have a strong pedigree in blockchain gaming that we can lean on, and the idea is to build the ecosystem around people who are passionate about games and also keen to work closely with these projects from an early stage and to guide them towards success.
Our inspiration is to be the Kickstarter for Blockchain Gaming and Metaverses, we believe that there is a lot of innovation taking place in this industry and we will be able to attract a community that is passionate about the space. Personally, I have had the experience of setting up the startup ecosystem here in Singapore for the local government as well as foreign government agencies from Australia, Austria and Holland and now we are looking at creating something virtually that is beyond borders and has the ability to attract global talent

Blockchain gaming is booming right now. The timing is right. I like the idea of having sort of a central hub for game-specific projects.

Personally, we think that the time for blockchain gaming has only just started, there is a long way to go and if you look at Metaverses we are even earlier

Can you explain your tokenomics and how your token will be utilized in your ecosystem? Do you have a tokenomics link you can share?
Prakash Somosundram
I don’t think I am allowed to share external links. But our Token is primarily a utility token for our ecosystem development. For investors, it is an opportunity to hold onto a token that may appreciate in value as well as giving them the opportunity of allocations in upcoming projects that will be launched on our platform. We will also be using our tokens for community building and promotion. Some of our tokens will also be used for an ecosystem fund.

8% of our tokens have been set aside for ecosystem development. Primarily to invest in some of the upcoming projects. We could also use this to build infrastructure for the community or to organize events and other activities to promote the community

Why did you decide to launch your IDO on the Ethereum blockchain?
Prakash Somosundram
Good question. We started our development in ETH as it was an environment that we were familiar with and we knew that we could get the required infrastructure support. Moving forward we will also be building more on Enjin’s Jumpnet which is an Ethereum environment and that would be a smooth transition. We will work with partners like Starter to offer cross-chain compatibility for our partner projects because every project needs to be cross-chain in the future and we are reaching that reality currently

Great answer. I know we are excited to have Enjinstarter as our first ETH IDO. It makes sense why you chose ETH based on this. Are you at all concerned with limitations due to high gas fees or do you feel it’ll all balance out for investors?
Prakash Somosundram
Well gas fees are definitely the biggest concern in the industry but that is why as a platform we are finding ways to ensure that we minimize gas wars

But I am sure soon a lot of these gas issues will be resolved especially when we move over to Jumpnet

Can you name some competitors?

There are many game focused launchpads but we do not see any one of them as a competitor, instead we are working towards partnering up with many of them so that we can operate as a cooperative and share deal flow and market intelligence. This way the community can grow collectively

What marketing strategies are the team implementing to spread awareness & build and educate the community?

Our marketing strategies at this point in time are primarily focused on working on partnerships and working with Key Opinion Leaders who are primarily Youtube and Twitter influencers so that we could work with them to influence their communities

Sure. We have a long term partnership with Bitboy Crew and we will be working with their NFT project called Pluto Alliance. We are really excited about the project, especially the Metaverse that they will be creating with it

We will start onboarding projects from October onwards. We will also be announcing a lot of community initiatives such as our elite scouts program where more people can work closely with us. We will continue introducing new ways the community can engage with us and grow with us

what are your plans for going cross-chain?

This is definitely in our roadmap and this is one of the main reasons that we are partnering up with Starter for our own IDO, as Starter has been a pioneer in this space and has created multiple chains. Even from an Enjin perspective, they are currently working on bridges that will enable cross-chain

⬛⬛When THE BEAR MARKET COMES WILL your token PROBABLY DUMP? Are you prepared for this bear market? How will you handle the panic of your Investors?

We strongly believe that Gaming will be strong enough to survive a bear market. Sure things will get harder but we will focus on building through the bear and we will focus on building more infrastructure and educating more people to enter into the market. Even in a recession gaming is very popular and people will seek entertainment in gaming.

Do you have any plans to add NFT’s to your ecosystem as this is the hottest topic in the crypto space???

Yes, NFTs are at the core of our strategy. Enjin is one of the earliest pioneers in NFTs and they have been involved in creating the NFT 1155 standards. So we will be looking at leveraging NFTs for community building and loyalty as well as allowing projects to do initial NFT offerings

How do you plan to publicise your programme in places where English is not frequently spoken? Do you want to educate a wide range of people about your project? Such as those in Vietnam, Indonesia, Korea, and other countries, so that they can easily appreciate and understand it?

Working with our partners we have launched Vietnamese, Turkish and Indonesian communities. We are currently looking at working with other partners to build micro-communities wherever there is interest. We do have an ambassador program which allows us to do it effectively
